What You’ll Do

You will serve as a key bridge between business partners, HR, and technology teams to ensure AstraZeneca’s HR systems not only meet today’s needs but adapt to tomorrow’s aspirations. In this role, you will:

  • Partner with collaborators to deeply understand business and HR requirements within the HR Technology landscape, ensuring solutions add tangible value.
  • Map, analyze, and document existing and future HR processes, supporting opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
  • Maintain a high standard of work, ensuring completeness, business value, and alignment with prioritization strategies.
  • Cultivate expertise across HR processes and technologies—becoming the point of contact for HR digital solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and vendors to implement, test, and refine new features, system enhancements, and integrations.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process automation, simplification, and increased functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance frameworks including GxP, SOx, and Data Privacy.
  • Assist with user adoption initiatives and initiatives related to managing changes, like crafting training materials and communications.
  • Proactively solve issues, support end-users, and act as an advocate for exceptional employee experience through digital platforms.

About You

We are looking for a self-starter with a keen analytical attitude and a passion for technology that improves HR. You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are driven to make measurable impacts on the business.

Your Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least three years’ experience working with leading HR systems (such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, SAP HR, or similar platforms).
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through payroll and performance management.
  • Hands-on experience with HR system configuration, maintenance, user support, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex business and system requirements into impactful HR solutions.
  • A meticulous approach to data accuracy and integrity, with a firm grasp of data privacy and security principles.
  • Experience developing and delivering HR reports and dashboards.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with team members across HR, IT, and the wider business.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Curious and motivated to continuously learn and experiment with digital HR advancements.
  • Exposure to HR process improvement, automation initiatives, or digital transformation is advantageous.

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations relevant to HR technology (for example, GDPR).
